Aplus.Net User ReviewsRead or Post Comments:Posted on Apr 19, 2006 by Andrew DAVID. M in technical means aPlus is not the best company in the market, I agree. But let me ask You this? When You've submitted the domain registration, did You make a whois lookup on the particular domain? If You've just submitted it probably You were trying to register through them an already existing domain, and I'm absolutely sure that's why they've returned the money to Your account. I'm quite very happy with the tech support team of their company. They're know-all kinda guys that are willing to helpwith almost anything - even if it's not in their responsibility maintain it. Generally if one knows why he bought the hosting he can get a good use of it. The control pannel is a set of substitutional tools nobody said that You have to use them exactly. I've got Dreamweaver, Smart FTP, I can manage my own .php scripts .htaccess files with a text editor. I don't need the control pannel. Not only that they're giving a free stuff to users, but they complain that it's not perfect... this is hillarious. One first must know what he's doing with that sort of stuff, then buy it, otherwise he can hire himself a designer. Webhosting generally is not for noobs. All Best! Posted on Apr 19, 2006 by Andrew davidB names4ever is just a division of aPlus - the registrar division - not a separate company Posted on Apr 18, 2006 by DAVID. M This is not a reputable company. We had purchased a domain name through them. They sent us an e-mail stating that we have our domain name with two years from date to date. The next day someone from their sales department called our office and wanterd to know what plans we had for our domain. They wanted us to buy their web hosting and marketing program. 11 days later, they e-mailed us stating that the domain name was taken and that we needed to secure another name. When comfronted with the situation , they lied and gave us every excuse possible. They stated that we never purchased the domain through them, then stating that they never recieved our credit card. We called our credit card company and went through all transactions on the date in question. The CCC stated that APLUS.NET secured the funds on that date and that they released the funds to their account. Later they unsecured and sent the payment back. Obviously they lied about not receiving the card and about not even purchasing the domain through their company. The day before they secured our domain, someone else purchased the domain. What are the odds of that. Very unlikely. It appears that something smells in San Diego California. It's APLUS.NET. This is not a company to be trusted. Posted on Jul 31, 2005 by Garry G I signed up for a years worth of hosting with Aplus up front. I only needed the site for a year so I cancelled when it was almost time to renew, giving them 30 days notice. I then removed my credit card profile in the Aplus admin panel and deleted the website. Its been about 7 months since I did all this and even though I am no longer a customer I get an email everyday from their Billing department telling me the credit card they have on file is not valid and my site has been suspended. I have contacted them twice but the email keeps coming. Very strange. Oh ya, while I was with them the web hosting seemed pretty good, although my website was relatively small - built for a family reunion. Posted on Nov 14, 2004 by davidB I registered a domain name with Aplus because they are very cheap at $5.95 per year. The only strange thing was that it took a few days to go live and I think they transferred me to another company called Names 4 Ever. The domain name works but next time I will probably pay a few dollars more and go with a company that does the domains themselves ... Post a CommentHave you experienced this host?
