For the price, Globat offers a solid amount of resources and a decent control panel. For novice users there are many features which are lacking, but if you know what you're doing and do not need support Globat's offerings are adequate.

We reviewed the Globat $7.95/mo Gigabyte Package which offers 75GB/month of transfer, 2.5GB disk space, and a whopping 2500 POP accounts. Globat is one of the few hosting companies that seems to run weekly promotions, so if you keep your eyes open you are likely to get a couple months free. (more...)

I have been using Globat for 2 years. They moved my site to a new platform about 8 months ago and ever since things have been much smoother. My only quibble is that I am paying quite a bit more than what they are offering today (I believe all their hosting plans are $1.99/mo for the first year now). So if you signup with Globat wait until they have a really good deal.
