From my experience Hostway is definitely one of the better and most reliable hosting companies out there. Their pricing is more geared towards business users though so if you are running a personal site where uptime and data security aren't an issue some of the discount providers might be a better choice.

Regarding the editor's review I actually like Hostway's control panel. Most hosting providers use variations of cpanel which is constantly being hacked and bringing down websites. With Hostway I haven't found that to be an issue.

I am currently using them to host our CRM system (php/mysql) and website.

Really bad service to bay a domain name... 3 days and I'm still having problems and can´t change the DNS.

They give no response to e-mails... 24/7? Yea Right....
