I have been with site5 for the better part of a decade (since 2000) and have had a lot of ups and downs with them. I was on the verge of leaving a couple of years ago and ended up staying but moving to one of their reseller plans. Within the past year I was experiencing an amazing amount of issues including severe performance problems, and they eventually transferred me to a newer server. Recently my server was compromised and defaced by some sort of Russian teenagers and their service folks were less than helpful in responding to this incident (primary response was to change the passwords... which I had noted was already something that had been done in my initial ticket). I would not recommend them after my overall experience and would encourage you to consider other hosts. I am presently in the process of transferring myself and my clients to another host.

I'm a current Site5 hosted customer and stumbled on this site because I was looking for some comments. They do a good job of making us admin panels to manage things but sometimes I wish they would look at the servers more. The forum they got always says they're upgrading old machines ... mines been running slow lately and could use an upgrade. They do try to help when I was having troubles with Invision board they got it working but then the server stopped working. Maybe its because i'm not a pro develeper?

We have been hosting a few websites at Site5.com and we have had mostly good luck, although occasionally their servers (at least the one we're on) seem awfully slow.
